The Vet has been here to do Vaccinations, health checks and breeding clearances. Mothers with babies had their Post Partum health check. I am very happy with the results of all the health checks. No health problems detected other than with 2 Pomeranians, neither Pomeranians being bred at Dochlaggie. One ( very active ) girl who is not a Dochlaggie has a grade 1 patella in one knee. This was mostly likely caused by the way she jumps and climbs. I also have an older dog ( again a dog I did not breed with loose patellas). The Vet was very impressed with many things including the temperaments of the Dochlaggie Pomeranians and my breeding program.
So excited. babies born last night and one is a CHOCOLATE. The last thing I was expecting from this breeding. Colour breeding is soo exciting.
May this Christmas end the present year on a cheerful note and make way for a fresh and bright new year. Here’s wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
We are having a break from the show ring throughout the summer months. From mid November to late January, possibly even to late February until the next dog show for the Dochlaggie furkids.
I really don’t enjoy dog shows in the extreme summer heat and I am sure the Pomeranians would also prefer to be at home in the cool during the hotter months.
Getting very excited over dog shows and planned happenings here at Dochlaggie for 2014.
Watch out for the Dochlaggie youngsters waiting for show debuts in 2014.
Just received my December Dogs Victoria Magazine. Very pleased with photos of Benny( Multi Bis Champion Dochlaggie Dragon Double) and the Judges critique for Pomeranians. Judge Mrs Gloria Geringer ( U.S.A. ) ” Pomeranian.
